Perfectly located in Shepherd’s Bush, just a stone’s throw from the Green and Goldhawk Road Station, Flamingo is the place to go for authentic Ethiopian food. The tradition is to enjoy ‘wot’, which is a thick meat stew served on top of ‘injera’ – a large flatbread, which you tear to use to pick up the stew. With a wide range of traditional Ethiopian dishes on the menu, including spicy meat stews and a huge variety of vegetarian specials, you’re sure to find something for everyone on the menu. The little ones are also more than welcome, with a separate Kids Menu – which doesn’t include quite so much spice!
