Bar Varia / Renfrew
As its name cleverly suggests, Bar Varia is a Bavarian themed restaurant and Bier Halle, fantastically situated with panoramic views of Scotland’s only indoor, real-snow ski slope. A real place for beer fans, they serve a great range of Bavarian beers, as well as carefully selected, renowned beers from around the world. If you don’t fancy beer, they also have wine, flavoured ciders, spirits and cocktails, so there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. Using locally sourced ingredients, Bar Varia serve traditional, authentic Bavarian cuisine, including wurst sausages, schnitzel and Bavarian style macaroni cheese. If you’re bringing a group, they also serve sharing platters with Bavarian sausages, pretzels and sauerkraut – ideal for allowing the whole table to get a taste of everything.
