The Royal Oak / Dorking
With stunning views over the Surrey Countryside, it's no wonder that the Royal Oak is popular with walkers and ramblers. This country pub has a cracking little dining room, where they serve a traditional pub menu with daily specials. Along with Head Chef Ric Taylor, Adrian and Bev prefer to use local suppliers whenever they can, and make sure that the meat is supplied by Bletchley's the Butcher, Fresh Free-Range Eggs from Simon’s (Hookwood), Groceries from Laytons of Gt. Bookham and fresh fish from the Pure Oyster Co! The back-bar area, opens on to the garden and a rather grand Gazebo.
