Modern Mediterranean small plates in the heart of Brighton's south Lanes. Designed and created during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, med. opened against tough odds. The first grassroots restaurant from Chefs Will Dennard and Jack Southan (founders of street food brand Wolfsmouth), med. opened its doors in July 2020 and has since become a vibrant addition to the Brighton restaurant scene. The food is, at its heart, Mediterranean. Each dish is designed to take influence from the countries which border the Med (21 countries to be precise) and merge them with classic dishes from the region using a mix of local English produce and speciality items from Europe.
